Miso Chicken Noodle Jars

These soup jars are a nutritious, cheap and quick way to pack your lunch or dinner when theres no time to cook. Miso is a protein-rich paste made from fermented soybeans and adds a punchy umami flavouring. We’e added shredded coleslaw veggies but you could easily use frozen peas, corn or broccoli. These ingredients can easily be swapped out according to your tastebuds.  
The combinations are endless and we would love to see what you create!  


  • 1 tsp miso paste 
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce or tamari  
  • 80g shredded chicken 
  • 1 serve vermicelli noodles 
  • Handful of fine cut veggie colesaw  
  • Spring onions  


  1. Prepare your jars with the miso paste, soy sauce, shredded chicken, vermicelli noodles, shreded veggie colesaw and spring onions 
  2. Seal the jars 
  3. Once ready to eat, remove the lid, pour in boiling hot water, wait for 2 minutes and shake to combine 
  4. Eat immediately or store jars in fridge for 3 days.
